I have had the privilege of being both a guest on several podcasts and a host for InterVision’s Status Go podcast. To see only those on which I was guest, select the Category “Guest”. For episodes I hosted, select the Category “Host”. Thank You!

Simply Solving Cyber is the brand new podcast by Aaron Pritz and Teddy Guzek. This show features an interactive discussion between expert hosts and guests focused on solving cybersecurity and privacy challenges in innovative and creative ways. Their goal is for their audience to learn and discover real, tangible, usable ideas that don’t require a huge budget to accomplish. Shows like “How It’s Made” have become popular because they explain complicated or largely unknown things in easy terms. This show brings the human element to cybersecurity and privacy.

In this episode, we talk about how my team and I solved PCI compliance issues using people and process before technology. While ultimately technology did play a part, we were about to resolve many of the issues by working with the people and driving new processes.

A Geek Leader: Amplify Your Job SearchIt was great to be back on A Geek Leader and talk to host John Rouda. John is a great host who makes his guests feel comfortable. Perhaps it is because I AM a geek leader! In this episode, we discuss my new book, Amplify Your Job Search, and why it is so important in today’s economy.  We highlight the importance of networking, not only to your job search but to your career overall. We also discuss the role of technology in culture during COVID and why that is important to the job seeker. Listen in to this lively conversation!

The Good Life It’s not often I get to speak to someone who is equally passionate about Lewis and Clark as I am. I was thrilled to be a guest on The Good Life podcast to talk about the leadership lessons that can be gleaned from the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Host, Sean Murray, and I dig into the expedition in Part I of this two-part interview. Having authored a microbook titled Everything I Learned About Leadership…I Learned from Lewis and Clark and numerous blog posts, I enjoyed the conversation with Sean.

In Part I, we talk about vision, team building, accountability, and diversity as we trace the footsteps of Lewis and Clark on the first part of their epic journey. Listen in…you will be amazed at the lessons we can learn from these men, a woman, and, yes, a dog from over 200 years ago. Join us on the journey!

#AmplifyYourLeadership Status Go – Episode 77

From the outset, this conversation was personal, deeply personal. Terry Morris, director of global services and digital solutions for Eli Lilly and Company and serves as the national president for BDPA (Black Data Professionals Associates) takes us on the journey of being a black leader in tech.

After explaining his comment of “as a black leader, I have been conditioned not be a black leader”, he describes his personal approach to assessing situations and how much of the real Terry Morris he will let people see. We also dive into the recent attack he suffered will riding his bike.

Always positive, Terry provides insight into the BDPA and how all of us (including old white dudes, like me) can get involved, either through a local chapter or by attending the upcoming virtual summit (www.BDPA2020.com). He leaves us with a call to action: a call to lean in!
